TOHO’s general drums offer many variations, counting 60 types, all of which are high quality products with superb general-purpose properties. From the aspect of efficient use of resources and environmental preservation, we have established a recycling system for steel drums. Our manufacturing plant, in order to be better prepared to answer the needs of the times, can handle the production of a variety of products in small quantities, as well as plan and manufacture original drums.

Lightweight and sturdy, TOHO’s “Kimitsu(Type I)” boast high-level sealing that prevents deterioration, such as oxidization, discoloration, and fading of the contents. “Kimitsu(Type II)” have a tenacious structure which prevents contamination from the outside and mixed materials so that contents can be discharged without being exposed to the air. Furthermore, improvements in corrosion resistance and reduction in metallic ion outflow are made possible by means of electrochemical polishing.

The most notable characteristics of TOHO’s medium-size liquid containers for hazardous materials, shaped like drums, feature more strength in withstanding loads, their own weight pressure, and external pressure, and are substantially lighter than their square-shaped equivalents. In conformance with the IMDG code certified by the United Nations, they are used freely in domestic and international transportation.

TOHO’s metallic pallet does not require the smoking process or heat treatment that was necessary with wooden pallets. State-of-the-art features such as skid-proof smart pallets meet the demands of our customers.
